There was once a time when deviantART was a great little community where people of all different artistic styles would meet and share their work with others. Unfortunatly, this time has passed,and devart has now been reduced to a whimpering shell of it's former self. "ART" seems to have been taken out of the equation entirely. Lets all bow our heads in rememberence of the good ol' days.
I'd like to say thanks to all of those who have commented on my work,aswell as the people who have given me so much inspiration over the years.
I think it's time to move on to better things.

Just thought I would mention, i have had no opposition what-so-ever starting
and I think it fits pretty squarely into what you are refering to. I understand you perspective and I really don't think there is a *right* and *wrong* in this situation.
